I’m a mother to a beautiful four year old but I am also a scientist- a lecturer and researcher in biochemistry and genetics at Lincoln University, New Zealand (all views expressed are my own). I believe that from knowledge comes power across all aspects of life. This is so true about parenting (and about science) where we find the more we know the more we don’t know. Gaining knowledge though, allows us to navigate the minefield of raising children just that little bit more confidently. In this blog in amongst my own observations as a mother and thoughts about parenting I’ll share some of the latest science around parenting.
